WHAT IS ADAPTIVE CLOTHING?

Adaptive clothing is clothing tailored towards people with physical disabilities who are unable to dress themselves or wear 'regular' clothing. Examples of this could be the inability to manipulate things such as buttons or zippers, those who lack a full range of motion, or those with medical conditions that prevent them from doing every-day tasks, including getting dressed.

It is a vision of Acorn To Oaks to create clothing that is both function, sturdy, and inclusive to the user's needs. As Acorn To Oaks is a children's clothing store and many of the products are made for children who will be unable to dress themselves, disability or not. However, we wish to accommodate for any disability that a child might have that makes it hard to find clothing for him/her.

Acorn To Oaks has a vision to help parents make their everyday lives a little easier by providing adaptive clothing services.
